Updated Website

I have a new website. This new site brings together my blog, podcasts, vidcasts, and artwork, so people can easily find what they're interested in. I'm happy with how it's come out, and hope you like it.

It does require Flash, though, which hopefully shouldn't be a problem for most people. If you can't use Flash, you can still access pretty much everything that's on the new site, at the old locations. Those locations include my blog here on Typepad, my podshow at Podcasternews, and my artwork at hollyedavidson.com (the old non-Flash version of the site will display if you don't have Flash).

If you do have Flash, please visit hollyedavidson.com, and update your RSS subscription to point there. The RSS feed is http://www.hollyedavidson.com/hollye.rss. You can enter comments and trackbacks there just like you do here in Typepad. As always, I'd love to hear from you, so I hope you can take a moment to comment.

Dimensions

I am excited about participating in the London exhibition Year 06, represented by Lemon Sky Projects and Editions. I have loved London since traveling there when I was thirteen. London has changed dramatically since then, but to me it still has the same magic I felt when I was young. My father and I traveled there a few years ago, and we visited every possible venue pertaining to art. Perhaps one could say I was a bit over the top about it, but art is my life and my reality, and my passion runs deep.

Gary and I have had wonderful times in London as well. We're unhappy that we can't attend year06, but I have a lot of work to do in preparation for the upcoming Bridge art Fair, in Miami.

I also have a new vidcast coming soon--I hope you like it.

At the Bridge art fair, I'll be showing paintings of people, and dogs, and perhaps some more multidimensional works. It's funny how we live in places in our memories--magical cities like London, or in scenes of our own creation. Sometimes these images can seem quite real, and they translate to the canvas with interesting results.
