Well, It's been a while since I wrote about what I am doing. Frankly, it has been an intense time for me lately.
Some of my works have been sent to London to be in the Year06 show, running at the same time as the Frieze Art Fair. Along with preparing for that, I am creating works for a showing in the Bridge Art Fair in Miami, which runs concurrently with Art Basel.
It's a very exciting time, made even more so by taking a leap from podcasts to vidcasts, which take a great deal more effort to produce.
Doing as much painting as I have lately, I feel my artistic vision has expanded, and I'm finding it easier to see beyond the form. I like the rawness that I've achieved in my recent portraits. When I can find the simplicity and essence of a subject, the result seems to be the best. This requires that I tap into my intuitive spirit, and that's an area where I feel comfortable.
Trotsky and Richard were here, too. We had a celebration for Trotsky in honor of his upcoming birthday. It was fun and I think he really liked it. I'm working on a new painting of Trotsky and Wendy.
