I've published a podcast and vidcast on the subject of Color. Please click the Comments link below to share your thoughts on this show.
There wasn't enough space for all of the show links, so here's the complete list (the first two were omitted):
Mondrian, Composition in White, Red and Blue
Miro, People and Dog under Sun
Bonnard, Bust in Profile (Study)
Seurat, The Channel of Gravelines
Claude Monet, Bathers at La Grenouillère
Music, Theme: Pranav Chavda, `Soul Beat`
Music, Segue: Farewell Redemption, `Remember Hope`
This was my first vidcast, and I'm very excited about it. I'll post more on the subject soon.

Hollye, I really enjoyed your video. I enjoyed SEEING the art and hearing you talk about it as you had them displayed. I've always thought that when you want to show a persons emotion you use black & white and when you want to show the spirit of an event you would use color.

Hi Hollye, I actually checked out your video after you were on Madge Weinstein's show last week and subscribed to your podcast, but didn't realise I could leave a comment until Madge said on her latest show (YR 444).
I don't know much about art, but I am a keen photographer (/web site designer / software developer) and so a lot of this not only interests me but makes sense too. The video format really suits your podcast - to be able to see the works you are describing, and you, works really well. I look forward to more video episodes!
(It was great to hear Trotsky in the background too).

I meant to say how really well produced I thought the video was, too. I always forget something when I post a comment!

Hollye -- this installment was thought provoking both from an artistic point of view as well as from a technical point of view. Rarely does vlog/podcast/blog content have this kind of quality. Very nice work.

Andy, thank you so much for your comments and viewing the vidcast, and now subscribing. I found your thoughts on black and white verses color very interesting. It is really wonderful hearing from you again!

Steve, I hoped I could share more through the video format. Since art is primarily a visual experience I thought that the subject warranted it. I visited your site and saw the wonderful work you do. Photography is an art form. The philosophy in painting, sculpture, etc is no different except for the medium. I also am glad you liked the video. Thank you for visiting and subscribing. I am very sorry about Jack(beautiful video--I cried, too).
