I've published a podcast on the subject of Dance. I'll start including the show description, so you can better decide if it's something that might interest you.

Hollye`s friend Noelle Dowma, ballet dancer and PhD physiotherapist, describes how dance and art use line, shape and symmetry to create visual stimulus. The relationship between Martha Graham and Isamu Noguchi is discussed as illustrative of how these very influential leaders in the fields of dance and art produced synergistic works highlighting the union between the two art forms. Finally, Noelle tells a story of how our perceptions of what we're seeing influences our experience, when viewing art.

Return of Trotsky

	Trotsky, AKA Trotskeluh, my dog "nephew", is staying with us for the summer. He is the "son" of my friend Richard. Trotsky has a treasure of a spirit; such elan and sweetness, and so playful. He's smart, as well--you can really see it in his eyes and his actions.
	He and Wendy, my poodle puppy, play and interact so beautifully. Wendy has been most gracious and generous about a new dog in the house; I'm very proud of her--she is truly beautiful and kind. She has such an angelic demenor, that I'm always surprised when she barks, because I'm reminded of what a big dog she is (50 lbs). You can really hear the wilderness in her bark.
	Trotsky's bark is just as adorable and doe-like as he is. When Wendy barks, he runs over to me to be held. He jumps right into my arms. The two of them are having a great time together, though, and like to be near each other.

I'll keep you posted on what Trotsky is up to this summer--I'm sure Richard will be interested! The pictures above were taken by my friend Lee, and Gary took the ones below. It's the rainy season, so they just had to model their new raincoats for us!

Madame Levy introduced me to the blogosphere. She is Leslie, a sister in law by name, a sister by spirit.

She's a great artist, who has an uncanny ability to get to the heart of what she's examining, whether it's poetry, music [ 1 ] [ 2 ], or critical or creative writing. Her respect for the intangible is almost tangible. She at once seems to echo the past, while reflecting the future. There's plenty that I don't really understand, but it all feels right. Anyhow, all great art should simply be enjoyed, and not overly explained.

I've been really enjoying the blogosphere, though, and I appreciate her encouragement and guidance. I never realized how much was there--it's a whole new reality, a rapid transmission of new ideas. I especially like the powerful rip-tide of truth that underpins so much of the content she's introduced me to. She is to be admired, I think, because her voice, loud and clear, is heard and enjoyed by so many in this wonderful new world of personal creation.

I'm happy for you and Thomas. I hope to get to France to see both of you, sometime soon. Maybe I can draw you?
